NFL Week 7 Betting Recap
– Late last week we published an article detailing why betting against the public on NFL totals is not nearly as lucrative as betting against the public on the spread.
– Most lopsided bet Week 7 games:
- St. Louis (+7) – 19% of spread bets vs. Seattle
- Oakland (+3.5) – 24% of spread bets vs. Arizona
- Cincinnati (+3) – 25% of spread bets at Indianapolis
- Dolphins (+3) – 33% of spread bets at Chicago
– Week 7 Betting Trends:
- Underdogs were 8-7 ATS this week bringing them to 51-52 ATS on the season.
- Home teams were 8-7 ATS this week bringing them to 49-53 ATS on the season.
- Teams coming off a loss were 7-7 ATS this week bringing them to 40-39 ATS on the year.
– In this weekend’s biggest upset the Rams (+7) upset the division-rival Seahawks 28-26. St. Louis closed as a +250 consensus moneyline dog.
– Two hours before kickoff on Sunday morning, these were the heaviest bet games:

– Each week former Caesars oddsmaker Todd Fuhrman tweets out the teams being pounded by sharp money and the teams being hammered by the less-informed public. This week the Pros were 6-0 ATS while the Joes were 2-2 ATS.
