Oakland Raiders | +2000 | +900 | +325 | -300 |
Philadelphia Eagles | +125 | +175 | +400 | +700 |
Pittsburgh Steelers | +225 | +200 | +230 | +450 |
San Diego Chargers | +350 | +180 | +160 | +450 |
San Francisco 49ers | +1800 | +400 | +230 | -130 |
Seattle Seahawks | -475 | +400 | +1200 | +2800 |
St. Louis Rams | +900 | +190 | +155 | +250 |
Tampa Bay Buccaneers | +700 | +400 | +300 | -120 |
Tennessee Titans | +2200 | +750 | +120 | -110 |
Washington Redskins | +1100 | +600 | +225 | -150 |
Based on these odds, we can project the final standings for all eight divisions:
AFC East
- New England Patriots (-170)
- Miami Dolphins (+135)
- Buffalo Bills (+165)
- New York Jets (-140)
AFC North
- Baltimore Ravens (+145)
- Steelers/Bengals (+200)
- Steelers/Bengals (+230)
- Cleveland Browns (-200)
AFC South
- Indianapolis Colts (-550)
- Houston Texans (-210)
- Jacksonville Jaguars (+110)
- Tennessee Titans (-110)
AFC West
- Denver Broncos (-160)
- Kansas City Chiefs (+170)
- San Diego Chargers (+160)
- Oakland Raiders (-300)
NFC East
- Cowboys/Eagles (+125)
- Cowboys/Eagles (+125)
- New York Giants (+140)
- Washington Redskins (-150)
NFC North
- Green Bay Packers (-300)
- Detroit Lions (+160)
- Minnesota Vikings (+150)
- Chicago Bears (-175)
NFC South
- Falcons/Saints (+185)
- Falcons/Saints (+225)
- Carolina Panthers (+225)
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
NFC West
- Seattle Seahawks (-475)
- Arizona Cardinals (+160)
- St. Louis Rams +155
- San Francisco 49ers (-130)
These odds indicate that the NFC South and the AFC North project to be the most competitive divisions in football, with three times listed with short odds in each division. In terms of the easiest route to a divisional crown, the Colts (-550), Seahawks (-475) and Packers (-300) would all appear to be near locks. There are also a handful of teams who seem like safe bets to finish in last place including the Raiders (-300), Browns (-200), Bears (-175) and Redskins (-150).
It’s interesting to note that only one team (Texans -210) is legitimately favored to finish in second place while betting any team to finish in third place would yield plus money.
