Marketwatch had a rough loss last week as we took the Houston Astros (+147) at home against the Braves. Atlanta’s offense was in full swing as they pounded out 14 hits on their way to an 11-4 victory.

Baltimore Orioles +108 over Washington Nationals
Washington has won a season-high six games in a row, and now begins the “Beltway Series” against interleague rival Baltimore. Ryan Zimmerman’s return to the lineup has seemed to fuel the Nats’ offense, as they have scored 25 runs in their three games since he returned from the disabled list. Jason Marquis (7-2, 3.67 ERA) will take the mound for Washington, and he should be well-rested coming off of a five-game suspension.
Baltimore will counter with young lefty Zach Britton (6-4, 3.18 ERA) who hopes to continue a solid rookie campaign. The game will be played in Washington, which means designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero will likely be reduced to a pinch-hitting role.
Washington opened as a -113 favorite at Pinnacle and is currently receiving 73% of all moneyline wagers. Despite the lopsided betting percentages, the line has remained steady, with the Nationals still -115 favorites. These betting percentages make the Orioles a prime candidate for Sports Insights’ Square Plays which are currently 82-68 (+37.4 units won) on the season.
