For fans of most NFL teams, Week 17 is pretty worthless. If your favorite squad is locked into a playoff seed (Jaguars, Chiefs, Eagles), only playing for draft position (Packers, Lions, Redskins, Giants, Cowboys, etc.) or no longer capable of eliciting anything resembling feelings from your broken soul (Browns), it should be a stress-free Sunday.

But the Patriots, Ravens, Vikings, Saints, and Falcons will be hoping a series of unlikely events doesn’t occur to change their fate. Luckily, fans of those teams can hedge against such a disaster in Week 17. Here’s how:
