NFL Opening Line Report Week 17

Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts

This game is currently the heaviest-bet game of the week, by far.  Bettors are getting down on the Colts to the tune of 81%.  They are assuming that the Colts, who are not yet ensured a playoff spot (!!) — will manhandle the Titans.  The line opened at Colts -8.5, but has already ticked up to Colts -9 to -9.5.  Some public books have the game posted at Colts -10.

St. Louis Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks

This game, the battle for first place in the weak NFC West Division, features the 7-8 Rams vs. the 6-9 Seahawks.  The NFL marketplace has some big line movement in this game, with CRIS opening the game with the  Seahawks (who are at home), as slight favorites.  The line has moved sharply, from Seattle -1 — all the way to Seattle as +3 underdogs.
