CRIS was the first of the market setting sportsbooks to post a line for tonight’s Texas vs. Texas Tech rivalry game. The Longhorns opened as a 4-point favorite and Sports Insights’ Betting Systems triggered a Steam Move less than two hours later, pushing the line down to -3.5. Texas is currently receiving 75% of all spread bets, yet the line has continued to drop to -3, where it currently sits at most sportsbooks tracked by Sports Insights. This is a classic case of reverse-line movement, a key indicator that big bets have come down on the home underdog.
