2016 Preakness Stakes Odds
The 141st running of the Preakness Stakes takes place on May 21, 2016 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. The race is 1 and 3/16 miles on dirt and last year was won by eventual Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.

Nyquist, the winner of the Kentucky Derby, was listed as the early -140 favorite and has since moved to -175. The rainy and sloppy weather conditions should make for a muddied track, which appears to favor Exaggerator. Since opening, the horse has moved from +450 to +300, and is clearly in the best position to take down Nyquist.
You can also bet the field against Nyquist, meaning any other horse could win either the Preakness or Belmont. Nyquist was once available at +1325 to win the Triple Crown this year, but is now at +230 following its Derby victory. If any horse besides Nyquist wins either the Preakness or Belmont, then the “No” will cash for this prop at -270 odds:
80% of the tickets at William Hill are on Nyquist to pull off the feat, but the slight majority of money doesn’t think so. This would indicate that some slightly sharper money is on Nyquist NOT to win the Triple Crown.
