Trump is the favorite (+110) to win the election, which would make him the fourth straight US president to get re-elected for a second term. George H.W. Bush was the last US President to only serve one term and that was over two decades ago. Keep in mind that you should always shop for the best line because doing so can make you a couple of extra bucks. At the time of publication, Trump is +250 Bovada.
Outside of Trump, there are a few interesting names with favorable odds, including some recent potential vice presidential candidates. Current Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Vice President-elect Mike Pence share the second-shortest odds (+700). Following the two Republican candidates are a few up-and-coming democrats—Elizabeth Warren, Julian Castro, and Cory Booker—who could be worth taking a flier on should they continue their ascent.
Lastly, there are some celebrities and popular figures in this list, such as Tom Brady, Leonardo DiCaprio, The Rock, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian. All of these “candidates” should be considered long shots to become the next President of the United States. However, it wasn’t too long ago that we grouped Trump in this pool when he announced his candidacy.
