Weekend Sports Update
In this week’s sports roundup of Sports Insights’ look at some of the more interesting games on the board, there are some standouts. We’ll take a look at a busy Saturday in college football and college basketball.
The NCAAF season is winding down closer to Bowl Season, but there’s still a lot of action this weekend.
- The Texas-Kansas State game is currently the heaviest-bet game on the board. This game is also seeing lopsided betting action, with Texas getting no respect, although they are home. Texas is the favorite, although Kansas State is nationally-ranked higher.
- Another game receiving a lot of attention is the Oklahoma-Baylor game. Oklahoma is on the cusp of national title game, but is currently “on the outside, looking in.” The Public is looking for Oklahoma to trounce Baylor, but Baylor at home could be solid value.
It’s early in the college basketball season, but please visit Sports Insights early next week for the most recent article on “betting against the public” in NCAAB. At the time of this writing, it’s a bit early for Saturday’s college basketball games, but some lines are starting to be released.
Currently, the largest underdogs in NCAAB for Saturday are Towson as 24.5 point dogs to Belmont, and Wofford as 19.5 point dogs to Wisconsin.
