Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

This game, even with the huge two-touchdown point spread, is attracting a lot of betting interest.  Will a new coach spark the Dallas Cowboys?  Will this long-time divisional rivalry get the Cowboys up for the game?  This game features two teams headed in seemingly opposite directions.  The Giants blew out Seattle 41-7 last week — and are riding a 5-game winning streak.  Meanwhile, the Cowboys took a 45-7 pounding at the hands of the Packers to cap off their current 5-game losing streak.  Several “public books” have already edged the line up to 14 points.

Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles’ big win over Indy this past Sunday impressed a lot of sports fans.  While the Eagles didn’t cover the spread, football fans noted that Philly is a force to be reckoned with.  The Eagles are attracting a huge percentage of bets in this week’s upcoming game versus the Redskins.  This lopsided-betting action is starting to move the line, even off of the huge key-three number.  Public perception plays a large role in value in the sports marketplace.
