2015-16 Odds to Win La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1

2015-16 Odds to Win La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1

With most European leagues setting to kickoff soon, we’re ready to take a look at the odds to win the 2015-16 La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 titles. Unfortunately in recent years we’ve seen the same teams at the top with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG, but that doesn’t totally dismiss every other team– Atletico Madrid won the 2013-14 La Liga Title after opening the season as 100:1 longshots.

Below shows the odds to win each major league at Bovada and we’ll continue to update as the season progresses (It’s important to note that we’re using a squarer book like Bovada rather than a sharp book like 5Dimes to show how shaded the top teams’ odds really are).

Last year Barcelona won their 23rd league title in their history and are the early favorites to repeat this season. No surprise that Real Madrid is right behind and only two other teams, Atletico +1400 and Sevilla +4000, seem to have a realistic chance to contend. We’ll go with the early favorites of Barcelona to repeat as champions in 2015-16.

Last season’s title race was expected to be pretty close but Juventus were the clear-cut best squad all year. They opened as -225 favorites to repeat and as long as they can hold on to key players like Paul Pogba and bring in some new talent, they look to be in prime position to win it again. However, a key signing for either Napoli or Roma could improve their odds significantly.

Odds to win 2015-16 Bundesliga (Germany):

Hertha Berlin+75000+50000
Ingolstadt+100000+75000
Darmstadt+250000+100000

Just like last season, the Bundesliga title may already be won without even playing a game. At -1000 title favorites, Bayern Munich would take a colossal collapse to not repeat. Unfortunately it’s hard to see any other team even coming close to contending in Germany this season.

France is much of the same as Germany, with PSG the massive -750 favorites to win their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title. PSG spend tons of cash and have constantly been rumored to acquiring Cristiano Ronaldo in the offseason. Even if this is a pipe dream, right now there’s not a squad in France that can contend for the title with PSG.
