2015 Australian Open Odds

2015 Australian Open Odds

The 2015 Australian Open Odds are out where Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams are the favorites to win it all. This tournament was won last year by Stan Wawrinka on the Men’s side and Li Na on the Women’s side, rare ‘longshot’ winners compared to prior years:

Previous Winners (Market Consensus Odds):

2015 Men’s Singles Odds (via Sportsbook):

2015 Women’s Singles (via Sportsbook):

There’s also a prop bet available at CRIS regarding the heavy hitters on the Men’s side:

Djokovic wins: -102

Nadal, Federer, or Murray wins: +235

Any other player wins: +245

Will this be another year where there are ‘longshot’ winners, or will it be Djokovic’s and Serena’s tourneys to lose?

Have you guys done any analysis on best of 3 game tourney vs best of 5 game tourney?

Heard that sometimes the odds are similar but more upset prone in best of 3 games.

No, most of our historical analysis is focused on the 6 major US sports. Unfortunately we don’t currently have much on tennis.

Who was the old “tennis expert” from the old Beyond the Bets webpage. I believe his first name was Jay but I wanted to try and find him on Twitter to get his analysis on the Australian Open.
