Floyd Mayweather’s Odds Reach New Low at Bovada
At Bovada, one of the most well-known offshore sportsbooks in the world, Floyd Mayweather has reached -400 for the first time since odds opened over a year ago. Conor McGregor is now a 3/1 dog.
Considered one of the “squarer” offshore books, Bovada has likely taken a wave of McGregor bets in recent weeks as the fight nears. In the table below, you can see how the odds have moved.
8/22/17 | 8/17/17 | 8/16/17 | 8/10/17 | 7/13/17 | 5/12/17 | 5/9/16 | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Floyd Mayweather | -400 | -450 | -500 | -550 | -500 | -750 | -2000 |
Conor McGregor | +300 | +325 | +350 | +375 | +350 | +475 | +900 |
There was some buyback on Mayweather after he reached -500, but he’s gradually moved from -550 to -400 over the past couple of weeks. The volume of bets on the fight is surely on the rise and it will be very interesting to see if the odds continue to trend in this direction…especially on Saturday when people are getting their bets in right before the fight.
At Sports Interaction, a square Canadian based book, Mayweather has reached -370 — perhaps the lowest odds on the market, but they don’t accept American bettors. The opening odds at their book were -3425/+900.
Odds @SIASport have Mayweather at -370 right now!

FWIW, Mayweather is still -475 at Bookmaker, one of the sharpest offshore books and -500 at the Westgate Superbook in Vegas.
