NBA Betting Trends: Chicago Bulls vs. San Antonio Spurs
Wednesday’s most anticipated game pits two of the league’s top teams against each other with the San Antonio Spurs (24-10) hosting the Chicago Bulls (28-8).
The Bulls are coming off a 99-95 win over New Orleans in which off-season acquisition Richard Hamilton saw his first action since late January. His return gives Chicago a healthy roster for the first time this season, however, the aging Spurs have been plagued by a slew of injuries.
Manu Ginobili is out indefinitely with a strained oblique, rookie Kawhi Leonard will miss Wednesday’s game with a calf injury and both Gary Neal and Tiago Splitter are currently listed as questionable. Our Premium and All-Pro members have access to breaking injury alerts, but all members can check in with our NBA injury page to check a player’s status prior to tip-off.
The Bulls opened as a 2.5-point underdog at CRIS and, according to Sports Insights’ NBA Betting Trends, are currently receiving 60% of all spread bets and 78% of moneyline bets. With the public favoring Chicago, the line has moved a full point to -1.5.
The market seems split down the middle on this game with half of the marketplace offering -1.5 and the other half shopping -2. This once again exemplifies the importance of shopping for the best line.
