NFL Betting Trends – New York Jets vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
For the second straight season, the Jets have won consecutive road playoff games and find themselves playing for the AFC Championship. In fact, with a win against the Steelers Sunday, Mark Sanchez, in his second season, will set the record for most road-playoff wins in NFL history by a quarterback.
Pittsburgh opened as a 3-point favorite at CRIS and the betting activity has been relatively split, with 57% of spread wagers falling on the Steelers, yet 57% of moneyline bets are taking the Jets. Our Betting Systems triggered a Steam Move at CRIS Monday afternoon, pushing the line up to -3.5, where it currently sits at most sportsbooks tracked by Sports Insights.
At the time of publication, zero positive Betting System Plays have been triggered, so be sure to login to your Sports Insights account Sunday afternoon, check the plays and shop for the best line (some books have already moved the line to -4) before taking a side in this game.
Also, be sure to check out this week’s NFL Marketwatch article (16-12, 57.1% in 2010-11) which analyzes the Betting Trends for the NFC Championship game between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.
