Sharp Bettors Liking Each and Every College Football Under Tonight
Tonight, we have three college football games featuring a little more MACtion, a taste of the Sun Belt, and the final football game UNC fans have to struggle through before basketball season begins.
None of these games are supposed to be close, in fact the 1-8 Tarheel team is the smallest dog of the night at +9. With square bettors eager to bet on any football game that they can (we tracked ~47k bets on the 5 NBA games last night, ~40k on the 3 MACtion games), there are more than 60% of bets on the over for each of the three games.
However, using our dollar percentages on our Sportsbook Insider odds page, we’ll see that money is favoring the under in all three.
Every under has more than twice as many dollars than bets and each of the totals has dropped at Bookmaker since opening. This is highlighted by the UNC/Pitt game that has seen the total drop four points since opening thanks to 95% of the money on the under.
Each one of these games is also expected to see winds of at least nine MPH during the game, with the Ball St/Northern Ill. game expected to have winds around 15 MPH. Wind plays a huge role in football and have given unders the historical edge in both NCAAF and the NFL.
