SIA not taking U.S. bettors

In an alarming trend, SportsInteraction.com will not accept any new sign-ups from the United States.  This is the third major sportsbook in the past two weeks that has taken this action.  As with the other sites, they will continue to be available to customers who already have accounts.

While it is good news that these books are continuing to take action from existing customers, there is concern that this action could spread to all of the major online sportsbooks, and perhaps lead to some of them shutting down their operations altogether.  After watching some of the poker sites have trouble dispersing cashouts, it is definitely a good idea to keep a close eye on any money you may have tied up in an online sportsbook.
